Christie is an entrepreneur, strategist, and CMO with a passion for healthcare. Prior to joining Tamarind Hill, she was the Chief Marketing Officer for innovative startups, where she played a key role in raising over $20 million in funding and taking one company public on the NASDAQ within three years. From advising unicorns on capital raise strategy to scaling communities by engineering virality, Christie has earned a reputation as a versatile and impactful growth driver.
Christie first connected with Tamarind Hill as a healthcare entrepreneur herself while building a platform for pediatric cancer patients. Before her startup successes, Christie worked for a London-based firm where she led innovation programs for top brands like L Brands and some of the UK’s largest children's hospitals and supply chain organizations. Additionally, she has mentored over 100 startups on strategy, product, and go-to-market approaches.
As a Senior Associate at Tamarind Hill, Christie leverages her experience in healthcare and startups to support the fund and acts as a fractional CMO for our portfolio companies. Founders often say her ability to quickly align, reposition, and then build on their vision borders on telepathic. Christie holds a tech-MBA from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from Miami University in Ohio.
